4 HOUR LIVE VISUAL SET – ALL CUSTOM CONTENT
“We divided the live set into 3 sections to take the audience on a journey and feel the transformation of the set. To maintain unity and stop the 3 sections feeling stagnant, we developed a semi-linear narrative with recurring themes and iconography. This gave us non-linear control over the whole visual performance yet allowed us to move the crowd through the experience. ‘”
ORIGINAL STAGE DESIGN “The stage design was one we used for another CABAL event last year. We used about 54 LED Panels, stacked and designed so as to give a dynamic performance setup.”

GRID - mid section
We wanted to take the audience on a slow transgression into the machine itself. Moving from the 2D retro into deconstructed 3D and grid based visuals.
We find it important to showcase our talents and personal design style but also play to the crowd. One way we do this is through respecting pop and meme culture.
Y2K - final section
Moving through the grid-based mid section we planned to arrive at some level of euphoric, Y2K visuals. In this section the 3D visuals become fully realised. The symbolism and elements we saw throughout the show are now fully realised in space. Completing the final journey in this new virtual space and locking the audience into the moment. After listening to Skream's recent sets we thought that this would be an interesting platform to mirror the fun, trance elements as well as darker, heavier tones.
This blue plastic texture was my favorite, it was a real time/audio-reactive project running in Touchdesigner
